The battle for the 2023 DTM crown could not have been more exciting: SSR Performance driver Mirko Bortolotti and his team battled for the title at the Hockenheimring in Baden-Württemberg right up to the final day of the season! In the end, Stefan Schlund's team and the Italian celebrated the runner-up title.

"What a season! We gave everything right up to the last lap. Even when the championship was already decided after qualifying on Sunday morning. There's no reason to hide, quite the opposite. SSR Performance clinched the first victory in the DTM for Lamborghini with Franck Perera, and Mirko's three successes speak for themselves. I am so proud of each and every one of them. Thank you for this year," said the happy team owner.

Overall, SSR Performance can look back on a very successful first season with Lamborghini in the DTM: a driver from the Munich-based team finished on the top step of the podium a total of four times. No other racing team celebrated so many victories in the 2023 DTM. 17 points in qualifying also underline the strong pace. SSR Performance also finished in a top position in the team standings, coming second.</p
