The conversion to the SSR CS pursues the ambitious goal of providing ambitious drivers with a road-ready track tool that reveals its true capabilities on the racetracks of this world. This maximum performance fun is achieved with the "SSR CS" upgrade kit, which includes a complete redesign of the aerodynamics and suspension.
Compared to the production model of the Cayman GT4 RS, the downforce, especially on the McPherson front axle, is increased by a front bonnet with central radiator flow, a newly developed front splitter with integrated flaps and a new rear wing by a whopping 90 per cent to 400kg at top speed, giving the SSR CS a new level of aerodynamic grip. In order to utilise this increased downforce efficiently both on the road and on the track, we have developed our own triple-adjustable SSR suspension, which was developed on a Formula 1 chassis test rig. Technologically identical to the suspension of the GT4 racing car, our suspension with its adjustable strut mounts on the front axle enables significantly higher camber values and noticeably lower ride heights compared to the production car. The further development of the suspension also includes an increased spring rate, which guarantees safe and superior handling even with high downforce. The result? A sports car that can be driven more precisely and dynamically than ever at the limit.
